Jake J. Gibbs
Jake is an emeritus professor at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). He taught for a combined 30+ years at Rutgers University and IUP. He was a Contemplative Practice Fellow of the Center for Contemplative Mind in Society, and he’s a member of a number of organizations that promote meditation and mindfulness. Jake has often been misidentified as a homeless gnome who spins a decent yarn. Decide for yourself by watching Jake’s 2011 graduation speech (see it here).
Roddy O. Gibbs
Roddy is a graduate of the Psychology Honors Program at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (no, he never had his father in class). After graduation, Roddy moved across country to pursue a number of business ventures in San Diego. More importantly, San Diego is where Roddy developed a further interest in mindfulness and meditation. He has been a member of a number of organizations and programs which allow him to work with others while continuing the development of his own practice.
Roddy is a certified instructor of the .b Mindfulness in Schools Project curriculum, and previously taught teen mindfulness groups under the direction of Lorraine Hobbs at the UCSD Center for Mindfulness. For more information please contact him directly.
