Jake J. Gibbs
Jake is an emeritus professor at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP). He taught for a combined 30+ years at Rutgers University and IUP. He was a Contemplative Practice Fellow of the Center for Contemplative Mind in Society, and he’s a member of a number of organizations that promote meditation and mindfulness. Jake has often been misidentified as a homeless gnome who spins a decent yarn. Decide for yourself by watching Jake’s 2011 graduation speech (see it here).
Roddy O. Gibbs
Roddy is a graduate of the Psychology Honors Program at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (no, he never had his father in class). After graduation, Roddy moved across country to pursue a number of business ventures in San Diego. More importantly, San Diego is where Roddy developed a further interest in mindfulness and meditation. He has been a member of a number of organizations and programs which allow him to work with others while continuing the development of his own practice.
Roddy is a certified instructor of the .b Mindfulness in Schools Project curriculum, and previously caught a teen mindfulness group under the direction of Lorraine Hobbs at the UCSD Center for Mindfulness. For more information please contact him directly.
